Safe Electrical Systems
Business owners and landlords have a legal responsibility to ensure they maintain safe electrical systems. Failure to have an up-to-date Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) could also invalidate your insurance.
RKB’s qualified electricians are able to test your electrical circuits and perform Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) to provide the piece of mind that you have safe, compliant system.
They’re only wires – what can go wrong?
Your electrical installations don’t last forever; the impact of daily usage, movement, sunlight, the interaction with other materials as well as ageing can all have an impact on how well and, most importantly, how safely they work. In most circumstances, Fixed Wire Testing should be undertaken every five years.
To identify faults such as defective electrical works, deteriorating and worn materials, and overloaded circuits, RKB Electrical can perform Fixed Wire Testing to identify these issues and if necessary, make repairs, thus reducing the risk of shocks and fires.
Fixed Wire Testing, is a series of professional tests on items such as mains panels, sockets, lighting, distribution boards and even air conditioning units. Once your Fixed Wire Testing is complete, we can provide you with an EICR in a printed or digital format, so you’ve got easy access to it when you need it.
